A copy of the County SEPTIC
SYSTEM PERMIT for your lot MUST accompany
your “Building Permit Application”.
Certificates of Occupancy will NOT
be issued without one!
Fire protection for
all garage walls contiguous to the house walls shall be 5/8” Type X wallboard
on BOTH sides unless a
comparable system is listed.
All Firedoors will be
rated at least 1 hour minimum.
Please call for
appointments for the following inspections:
1.
STRUCTURE LAYOUT ON
LOT
2.
FOOTERS BEFORE THEY ARE POURED
3.
CELLAR/FOUNDATION BEFORE IT IS BACKFILLED
4.
FRAMING, ROOF AND
SIDING
5.
ROUGH PLUMBING
6.
HEATING & AIR
CONDITIONING
7.
INSULATION
8.
WALL BOARD
9.
FINAL INSPECTION **
**BEFORE
CALLING FOR A FINAL INSPECTION YOU WILL NEED:
1.
WELL TESTED (if
applicable)
2. SEPTIC SYSTEM INSPECTED AND APPROVED
3. ELECTRIC INSPECTED AND APPROVED
(a copy of the Inspection must be furnished to the village building department
BEFORE Final Inspection.)
Contact the
Village Code Enforcement Office at 335-6955 a minimum of THREE (3) days PRIOR
to the date for all inspections!!
